In December of 2006, the Lower Merion Police Department received accreditation from the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association.  On December 9, 2009, the Police Department completed the reaccreditation process and will be accredited for an additional three year period.  The accreditation process ensures that the Lower Merion Police Department continues to provide the highest level of professional police service to our community
